Located in the peaceful village of Avoor, in the Tiruvannamalai District of Tamil Nadu, South India, our church has been a source of faith, hope, and love for the community since 1993. Over the years, we have had the privilege of serving the people of both Salem and Tiruvannamalai Districts, sharing the message of the Gospel and God's unconditional love in practical and meaningful ways.
Our mission is centered around preaching the Gospel and reaching out to those in need. Through acts of charity and compassion, we have helped widows, the poor, and the underprivileged in both rural and urban areas. We believe that true faith is demonstrated through love and action, and we are committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of those around us.
In addition to preaching and charity work, our church has used the creative arts—such as drama and dance—as powerful tools for evangelism. We have visited numerous villages in Idappadi (Salem District) and Avoor (Tiruvannamalai District), sharing God's message in ways that resonate with people from all walks of life. These outreach programs have touched hearts and brought many into the fold of Christ.
Through our collective efforts, we continue to work together as a team, inspired by the love of Christ and empowered by His grace, to make a positive impact on our communities. Whether it is through preaching, charity, or creative expression, our goal remains the same: to spread God’s love and serve those who are most in need.
In and around the villages of Avoor, we have had the joy of meeting many children, which led us to start our Children's Ministry. Through heartfelt prayers, joyful songs, and engaging Bible stories, we teach them about the love of Jesus. We also incorporate fun games and activities that make learning about Christ both enjoyable and memorable. Our goal is to create an environment where children feel loved, safe, and inspired to grow in their faith. Through this ministry, we aim to plant seeds of hope and faith in the hearts of the next generation.
Through our dedicated church youth, we have established a Youth Ministry focused on guiding and supporting young people in their faith journey. We provide counseling and mentorship to help them navigate the challenges and temptations they face in their lives. By encouraging them to meditate on the Word of God and cultivate a vibrant prayer life, we empower them to stay strong in their faith. Our goal is to help youth develop a deep, personal relationship with Jesus, which will guide them through the trials of their young adulthood. Through this ministry, we hope to equip them with the tools they need to live godly, purposeful lives.
Our Women's Ministry is dedicated to supporting and empowering women both within and outside the church. We meet regularly to counsel, encourage, and help women grow in the maturity of family life, equipping them with the wisdom to navigate the challenges they face. We also inspire and encourage them to stand firm in their faith, actively participating in church activities and ministries. Our meetings are a time of fellowship, renewal, and prayer, addressing the specific needs of women in our community.
Our Pastoral Care Ministry extends to several branch churches in surrounding villages, where dedicated pastors oversee the spiritual well-being of the congregation. We gather these pastors as a family to check in on their personal and ministry lives, offering guidance, support, and encouragement. Through these meetings, we ensure they are cared for, both spiritually and emotionally, and provide valuable input to help them in their roles. It is our heart's desire to strengthen and uplift those who serve in God's work, ensuring they are equipped to continue their calling with joy and perseverance.
We are committed to serving our community through acts of compassion and love. Our church regularly visits leprosy homes, offering support and showing God's love to those who are marginalized. We also provide provisions to the poor and needy, ensuring that they receive the essentials for daily life. Through these acts of kindness, we aim to bring hope and dignity to those struggling in difficult circumstances
